Expect an upbeat musical experience with Silvia Dee & the Boyfriend! Rob Deyman and Silvia Dee play rootsy blues with a rockin' vibe and a side order of Louisiana spice.
They’ve appeared at festivals such as Lighthouse Blues Festival, West Coast Blues Festival and the Kitchener Blues Festival as well as the Grand Porch Party and selected for cross Canada tours as Via Rail “artist on board”. They are booked for restaurants, corporate event, private parties and livestreams. They have appeared on stage with Mel Brown, Maria Muldaur, Marcia Ball, Delta Moon, Big Dave McLean and Lil Ed and Blues Imperials.
Silvia's new song "Riverside Child" was a finalist in the 2020 International Blues & Roots Songwriting and earlier represented Grand River Blues Society in Memphis Tennessee at the International Blues Challenge and recently showcased at Riverside Taps and Times Changed, Winnipeg, Manitoba in 2022.
Rob Deyman plays acoustic, resonator, electric guitar, mandolin, banjo and vocals. Silvia sings and plays piano and accordion for a Latin groove or Zydeco style. Together they write and perform original music and often add musical friends into the mix to suit any occasion.
